Love Your Bread??
Paleo and Keto recipes provide some great low GI substitutes
Try quick and easy Keto Bread
1 egg
1 tablespoon olive , avocado or coconut or other oil
One quarter of a teaspoon baking powder - add a little more for a fluffier bread
3 tablespoons of almond meal OR 1 tablespoon coconut flour.
Mix together in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave for 90 seconds or until mix is cooked and coming away from the sides.
Cool slightly and turn out.
Slice and Crisp in the toaster or frypan if desired.
Add your favorite flavors:
Herbs, Olives, Parmesan, Seeds,
Grated Sweet potato.
